Living in West London in 1978 and still writing songs, Alan Hodgson teamed up once again with Paul Arscott on bass guitar, and two local musicians, Pete Flaskett and Bill McLeod. They called the band ' The Chancers ' and rehearsed and recorded, but never played any 'live' gigs. However, some of these songs were to be used twenty years later when ' The Band That Time Forgot ' was formed. Sadly, no photographic record of the band is currently available.
